Event Inspector not changing channels on notes

I've got a midi track that I cut and pasted and want to change the note channels from 14 to 1.  I select the track change to 1 in the Event Inspector but when I go back to Event List the notes are still all 14.

Any ideas?

Thx,
Mike F.

Well, actually a different problem.  The notes changed but the midi control data that came with it stayed at channel 14. Anyway to batch change the control data that comes with the notes?  Event Inspector didn't seem to do it.

    Thx

Hi, Event Filter will do the job.

    1. Select the MIDI clip.
    2. Go to Process -> Find/Change (the Event Filter dialog box opens).
    3. Do nothing and just click OK.
    4. Change the value in the Max field under All Non-Special Events from 16 to 1.
    5. Click OK.

    Tak T.
