Event List Moves on Edit

When I edit any of the editable fields in the event list, the whole list shifts down and the textbox I was editing (which might have been anywhere in the list) ends up at the bottom of the screen. This was not the case in older versions and seems to be very confusing. Is it a bug or something that can be worked around somehow ?

Thanks for your reply. I believe it was Cakewalk 3 at the time.

The point, though, is that there is no rhyme or reason to way it works.
