Eventide's Precision Time Align - Useful in Sonar Platinum?

Eventide's Precision Time Align is on sale for $29 until June 30th.  Is this a tool that would be useful in SPlat?  I really don't have much experience with this sort of plugin.  And, is it compatible with Sonar?  Does Sonar require delay compensation ability in order to use it?

Regards

Those are good questions. I looked at and I didn't think Sonar needs it. I have never had a problem aligning audio in Sonar. Also Sonar has Aim Assist to make it very easy to align things.

However it should work fine in Sonar. Sonar does have delay compensation. Its automatic. It can be turned off.

Intersting thought, John, and thanks for the information.  When I looked at it, it seems that there are no visual references to view.  It appears to be all by listening which may not be very precise.  I'm now looking at MeldaProductions MAutoalign plugin...This would be useful when recording, for instance, a drum kit with multiple mics on it.  Or, a mic'd guitar cab with a direct guitar signal.  The auto align features makes it more appealing to me.

Channels Tools adds a fixed, precise amount of delay per channel if needed.
