Ever used WavesTune to have audio follow midi pitches? "Receive Midi" function question

It's EASY to turn audio into midi these days, but i want to use midi data in one track to control the pitch of vocal audio in another track using the "receive midi" function in the plugin.
Has anyone successfully done this?

If so, does it have to be 100%, or can it pull the pitch in that direction to varying degrees (magnetic strength or speed of change are controllable?).

I want to use one vocal track that's been carefully pitch corrected to improve/correct the pitch in many doubled tracks without the painstaking agony of doing it by hand.   It's an incredibly difficult vocal part with many accidentals, so automatic pitch correction won't cut it.
