Everything new is old again

I found it funny to now be a part of a different DAW forum but the same personalities are there with different names.

There is the "know it all", the "#1 Fanboy", the "overly vocal skeptic", the noobs that want to know everything they desire is fixed or now a feature before they will buy etc. etc. etc.

Is there someone that despises DAW's because they don't have the patience to figure out how to use the most basic version but still posts every day about anything but recording music and has seemingly no grasp at all of what anyone is actually saying?

Since I mentioned I am part of that forum this question is redundant, IMO.

Probably even has a guy with the forum's most uncreative login name?

Is there a guy there talking about us behind our back?

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

Hi,

So, the more things change, the more they stay the same?

Except one thing ... tomorrow there will be an upgrade for you to fork off some more moolah!

Good.

That often means new tools and new features to explore and incorporate into making music.

So.... how's Music Creator 4 coming along for you?

To a keen reader of manuals any forum is getting more and more of a pain.
Internet has created a whole, big, section of users who don't seem to even think of any other way
than being spoon-fed on the forums. When I first contacted Cakewalk support I wrote a letter, and it took (only) about three weeks to get an answer! :o) :o)

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

Hi.

Priceless.

Too expensive ... can't afford that on Social Security!

It's relative ... what is easy for some is not exactly logical and perfect for another.
