Wow, a whole new set of mic positions -- in a free update? I'm not an ERG user, but if I was I'd be pretty tickled. Some other vendors would have called this update the "deluxe" addition and charged and extra 50 bucks for it. Way to go, Greg.

Hi - I have a few of the options that are eligible for crossgrade. I am curious what you would consider the other 2 top libraries to be? Lots of different opinions on pianos. Just considering and I have far more pianos that I really even need -

Hi Brando,
Sounds like we have something's in common. I also am overstocked on dedicated piano libraries but I can't quit buying them.
My main goto Sample libraries were Galaxy Vintage D 1.2 and Alicia's Keys but I also really enjoy the expressiveness of the modeled Pianoteq 4.5 pro with the Bluthner model 1 add-on.
Can't say about Ivory II as I don't do ilok...
If you are looking for a versatile sampled library and all 3 pedals are important I would highly recommend the Evolution Rosewood Grand.
As always each one has it's strengths and your mileage may vary. Hope this helps.

Pretty much any piano library qualifies you for Greg's crossgrade discount.
Funny how I got by with one real piano for 40 years, but when I started collecting virtual pianos I couldn't stop at 1, or 2, or 6.

Couldn't resist. Despite my love for Pianoteq, I had to have this, as I own many of OTS other products and use them for everything. The ERG is no disappointment.. Highly playable, lovely, and addictive. Typical OTS quality. Best $140 I've spent in a while. Thanks again to Greg for another great product!
