I am officially 35!!! I'm feeling good!! Which is: a lot of hard work, and a little bit of luck. Also a great feeling.

Many atheists DO celebrate winter solstice and the beginning of the new year. I know I do. We just don't bother giving those celebrations any fictional/supernatural meaning. Just like we chose not to ignore that Christmas is a 100% recycled pagan holiday which cannot possibly coincide with the birth of Christ - like many Christians of various denominations will tell you (many Christians think that celebrating Christmas is heresy, even satanic. Just like celebrating your own birthday, incidentally. Or the new year.) Atheists also find meaning and purpose in actual life, because they know that the end is the end. Happy Birthday, though...

What do you think happens to atheists when we die then?
You turn into fertilizer that's used by nature to grow pretty flowers. (Unless others put you in a box.) Of course, I'm not going to start this up again, but I think both the religious and the athiests will be surprised after their time here on Earth ends.
