Expanded track view
Hi Guys...for some reason every time I open HS6 now, the track view has all the tracks expanded (that is, All the track controls per track shown) instead of the one line per track which I had previously. So I have to reduce each track individually to get back my preferred starting position. How have I managed to do this, and is there a "global" way to ensure every that file opens showing one track per line? I seem to have been through every track view option but not found how to stop this happening. Hope this has made sense!

As far as I know, there is no 'open the project this way all the time' setting; it should always open as it was the last time you saved it. Open one of your projects, minimize all the expanded tracks, click Save, close and re-open the project. Did they remain minimized?

Hi Greg, following your suggestion, if I minimise all the tracks and then save the project, close the project and re-open it, they are all expanded again. Actually, the opening screen only has the first expanded track viewable. I can drag the bottom right down to give me a full screen, but all the tracks are expanded! Mike

That is odd. I also have SHS 6. Let me snoop around in there to see if I can find why...

Right-click in an unused area of the track pane and see if 'Lock Height' or 'Set As Default Height' is checked.

Hi Greg... Sorry for delay - domestic problems! Track pane is set to "set default height" and can't seem to be able to uncheck it for some reason. If I untick the box, when I go back and take a look it's ticked the box again!!
