Export a part of video

Hello,
 
I'm making a music on a 26 min movie. I made the first 2 minutes and I would like to send it to the creator of the movie so he can tell me if I'm in the right direction. When I export the video, even if I select on the time line from 0 to 2 min, Sonar X2 exports sound from 0 to 2 minutes but with all the video. Is there a way to export the first 2 minutes of AUDIO + VIDEO or should I have to edit the video after (I actually did this but if I can avoid this step thanks to Sonar, it would be cool) ?

    AFAIK: Sonar cannot edit video.

    +1 Cant be done.

    Export your audio from Sonar and then use a third party Video app to import the audio and then to export video clips
