Export and burn problem

Sonar Platinum.  I export ONE TRACK from a multi-track project.  I create a .wav file out of it.  I burn that file to a CD, using the Sonar utility.  When I play the CD, the track plays about a minute of silence after the end of the audio.
 
I go back and check the .wav file and play it (Windows Media player), and it stops at the end of the audio, as expected.
 
Where did the extra silence come from, and how do I avoid it?
