Export midi track as separate file

I am using Sonar X1 Essential

Can I export a separate midi track to be used by another user of Sonar or another DAW?
The Export - Midi Groove Clip is not enabled when I have the midi clip selected.
I'm not even sure if this will get me what i want.

Basically I have done some recording but I want the tracks mixed by somebody else.  I want it in midi format.
Any suggestions but be appreciated

For just one track, the easy way is just the drag the MIDI clip(s) out to your desktop or a folder where you want to save it. For a multi-track project just Save As, and change the file-type to MIDI (Type 1 for multi-track, Type 0 for a single combined track).

Save as  a midi file (Type 1 if multiple tracks), not as a Cakewalk file and send by mail. Oops, just saw post above--double take.

I normally bounce to clip and just drag to the desktop.

The other above method works too.
