Export midi / vst BFD2 / instrument as audio

I needed to export audio to indidual tracks to send out to be mixed. I froze the BFD2 soft synth and then exported the audio which was created when the tracks were frozen.  Is this the correct way to do this? Or is there a better way? Also when freezing, does the audio created adhere to the bit rate as the project (are each frozen tracks 24 bit audio)?

You don't need to freeze and export, usually just an export is good enough.

Make a point of listening closely to your export when it's finished. If you get any cymbals cutting off, engage the offline button in the BFD gui. If they still cutoff, don't use fast bounce, use real time bounce

The audio bit depth of your export is specified in the Export Dialog box.

i tried to do an export without freezing however the export/audio was "greyed" out and not able to click on it.  to make sure you understand what I am doing:  I am sending the song out to get mixed, the guy mixes in pro tools so I have to send individual tracks. so I have to get each drum to its own channel and exported out as audio. So in the end I had 42 audio tracks which I sent. because I was unable to export audio from the tracks I created which were mapped to bfd2, i froze the drums, this created an audio clip for each drum ie: kick drum clip, snare clip, tom clip etc.  I then exported all of thos clips as individual wave files, kick.wav, snare.wav, tom1.wave, etc. it seemed to work, however I am not sure if this is the only way or the best way to do this.

Right. In that case you don't need to do an export after the freeze - you can just drag & drop the audio clips onto your desktop and do what you want with them from there.
