Currently, whenever I want to export a mixdown, I have to select all, then do select from the start point and select to the end point.
Given that this is what the majority of exports are, it seems it could all be made a bit more one-click.
Firstly, how about having "Start" and "end" markers, that Sonar understands to be always the start and end of a given export, unless an alternative selection has been made.
Secondly, as the above implies, if nothing is selected, then the export should default to "all tracks, on the time range between Start and End".
We may be talking about different things, but if I go to
Edit -> Select -> None, then export the audio using the "What You Hear" preset, All tracks are exported to a single Wave file, though I usually override the default bit/depth settings. Is that what you mean in the second part of your post?
