Exporting Audio Troubles

This has happened on most attempts.  I save the session and the client wants a MP3 to listen to.  I File->Export->Audio and I get a message that the selection has no audio data.  Hmmm.  Nothing is selected, as in no single track is highlighted.  I close X2, open it right up and try File->Export->Audio and it works fine.  What am I doing wrong.

I always select all the tracks and then tell it export and have never had a problem.  Don't forget to drop bit depth to 16 if it will go to CD.

I always like to Select None before doing an export.

    Same result though.

I have tried it both way with all tracks and none selected.  I tried it with just the master selected.  Unless I close X2 and then re-open it persists in tell me there is no audio data... Roger all on the 16 bit selection.  Did not pay attention to that are just once and tried to burn a CD.  Tisk tisk on me.

This happens to me sometimes. I'll select all for export, get the no audio data selected message; select none for export and all is OK. Other times it doesn't matter and will work as it should. This also happened to me in X1.

    Wierd...
