Exporting Issues in SONAR Professional

When I have finished editing a voice recording, one of several done at the same time by the same person, I save the track as a file and export the audio.  I then delete the recording and add the second recording.  I want the same FX effects applied to all the recordings.  When I export the second recording it will not save the audio.  It creates a file, but there is no sound.  I have had to save it as a completely different editing file.  Close SONAR and reopen it. Then open the new saved file in order for it to export with the sound. But when I try to import the same file back into SONAR it loads as a dead file. HELP!!!
I also tried creating my own preset, but then I ended up with noise in the recording that was not there before.

I am running a 64 bit Windows 10 professional.  My computer is set up like a gaming computer with 32gb memory.  I should not be having these issues. Am I doing something wrong?  I had the same issue with Artist and upgraded.

Not sure why you are working the way your are, There are many easier ways to do this.

One is why are you deleting the original, that sounds like a way to loose work to me.

I can think of a dozen ways to do this without  hassle, here's one comes to mind.

Get your first track the way you want it, And export it. Now save that track as a template. Mute the track.
Insert the template as a new track and drag the 2nd vocal to that. It will now be identical to the first without deleting anything. Now export this and on and on.

You can also set up a Master buss and put the effects in it's bin and route all the track to that.
Buy muting unwanted tracks you can export till the cows come home.
When you export make sure you use a new name for each track, not sure if you did that by what you wrote.

    Thank you, Cactus Music!!!

I am sorry, I didn't add that I do save the original project file first, before deleting the track.

I am a newbe at this and still learning the ins and outs.  I will definitely tryout the Master buss!
