Exporting clips to individual audio
If you've been following the other thread you know that I am trying to trigger individual percussive things with midi keys, and have learned how to do this. So this evening I recorded all my hits to clips and am ready to turn them into wavs I can then add to an sfz file.
I have about 8 tracks with about 5-6 clips each that are ready to be exported. How do I do this so that each clip gets exported to its own wav? Due to the non-destructive edit feature, the wavs that already exist in the project's Audio folder contain all the silences, and are not separated by clip. I only want to export the edited down portions of each clip. I also obviously don't want the silence before or between them.
I tried exporting to audio and selecting Tracks, but that still doesn't split them all out. And that didn't work anyway because Sonar is giving me an *extremely useful* error "An internal error occurred while processing the mixdown. The operation was unsuccessful." I unchecked "Fast bounce" and tried again and instead received the message that "The render operation was canceled before completion. Do you wish to keep the partially rendered audio?" (I said Yes and got a bunch of useless 4 Kb files.) But even if it had been successful I don't expect that was going to do what I needed anyway.
How do I turn all my carefully edited clips into nice, individual compact wavs?
