Exporting individual tracks without the auto-renaming

  Everytime I export multiple audio tracks out of Sonar (using TRACKS as source), Sonar adds the track number (-1 -2 -3 -4 -5 etc etc) at the end of the names I already gave each individual tracks (Piano -1, guitar -2, bass -3 etc etc etc). it takes me a while to remove that individually on each track after the export is complete - is there anyway to disable that? Thnx

Yep, that utility that FBB pointed to is terrific and will let you work around this feature that Sonar has. But it always takes me a few minutes to wrap my head around how it works and which sections I need to deal with in its UI.

I wasn't going to mention the UI. Now that is a scary one for those that think X1 has problems.

Having said that with complexity comes power and once you get your head around it, there's nothing it can't do when it comes to file names.

Want to change the 4th digit in every file and sequentially re-number them with odd numbers. No problem, but pretty it ain't.
