Exporting tempo

Hi!
 
I have some old project from Sonar 8 that I like to export to Reaper.
Can I export tempo-maps? Embed in midi?

    Ok, I'll make a virtual loope then and record tempo into Reaper

    Late to the party, but all MIDI files include a tempo map (even if it consists of only a single initial tempo). If you Open such a file in SONAR as opposed to importing it, the project will take on the MIDI file's tempo map. I presume the same is true of Reaper.

    Might be the OP doesn't understand that you can save the MIDI part of a Sonar project as a MID. > file which will contain all that is needed to reproduce the original song in any MIDI playback software. So you don't save it as a CWP file, you save it as MID. Type 1

    I didn't check the exported midi well enough.
    So, made myself some extra work :)
     
    Anyway, next time I'll do as you suggested.
