Extending AD2 MIDI Beat Patterns in Platinum

Newb Question - So far, my process with AD2 is to find a beat and drop it into my MIDI track, but I have to tediously link them together one by one, which is a kind of psychological root canal after a verse and a chorus. Is there a way to drop that 2 measure pattern into the MIDI channel and then just repeatedly extend it outward via copy/paste, drag, or some other functionality? I've searched for documentation/ videos, tutorials, etc., but to no avail. Thank you.

    CTRL+L converts a MIDI clip to a groove clip. Then click+drag the end of the clip.

    You can also use the Pattern Tool (Press F9 or see the HUD or Control Bar.)
