External Mixers

I'm planning on getting a Yamaha MG10/2 Stereo Mixer for use with GTP3 and I want to follow the connection diagram as shown on page 183 of the GTP3 manual. My question is that I've read the manual for this mixer and it states that if "you are using stereo channels, the signals from the L and the R channels are mixed and sent to the AUX1 and AUX 2 busses".

This kinda goes along with the description of the connection drawing on page 183 of the GTP3 manual but the term "mixed" in the mixer manual is concerning me. Does this mean that I lose my stereo input signal and that it gets summed into two mono signals? Or will it work like I think it should and send my L signal to AUX1 and my R signal to AUX2?

Thanks,
Curt

I would read it that aux1=L and aux2=R....what have you found out about this since you posted?

I assumed the same thing but we all know about ASSuming...
I've ordered the mixer and it should be here by Friday. It's the smallest one I could find that had 2 AUX sends on it which is crucial in the kind of setup I need.
