External insert causing interruption on virtual synth

HI all.
I'm experiencing a weird issue in platinum when using external insert.
I'm using my analog UA 2-1176 on my drum track and it all works fine.
On another track I'm using Dropzone which is triggered by a pre-recorded midi track.
before I put the external insert in the session everything was great. Now when the track is playing back, the dropzone won't play all the notes sent to it. No difference with or without FX delay compensation...

Any thoughts?
Thanks a lot

Dropped MIDI notes usually means the "Prepare Using nnn Millisecond Buffers" value in Preferences > MIDI > Playback and Recording is too small. The default is 250. Try 500, 750 or higher.
