FAO: Andrew Rosa - Sweetwater Pricing is still wrong

It is not wrong as such, more like the site doesn't offer the X2 Pro to X3 Pro price option, it has the ANY Sonar Pro to Sonar X3 Pro for $199... one of omission

So the only place to get X2 Pro to X3 Pro is thru the cakewalk store?

That's not a bad thing per se, just asking.

I wouldn't be hesitant from buying direct from Cake, but I wouldn't mind using the Sweetwater option for 3 payments...been a tough month!

$199 is not much more than what it costs to buy it in the UK sadly enough ( £119) .....shame. I would have paid the equivalent of $149 though (£92)

It also says R-mix is included, but I thought CW said you would only have it in X3 if you aready owned it.

Has Cake contacted Sweetwater? If they are selling downloads not boxes, I would think that there would be some "unique partnership" as they state on their site...

If you want X3 fast, probably best to get it straight from CW.

I ordered the upgrade from Sweetwater yesterday (Fri), shortly after the ad came up on their site.

Despite their claim to be able to get you the code in minutes, I have yet to receive anything - via email or in my CW account.

So, it would seem there was no coordinated strategy between CW and Sweetwater regarding early sales (before Monday).

Guess I'll be cancelling the Sweetwater order....

EDIT:  Ended up calling Sweetwater and cancelling the order.  I was told I was the first to order the upgrade.... Fat lot of good that did as there was no plan to act on any sales (of X3) before Monday!  Oh well.

    Ordering from CW now....
