FAO spacey

Did you know that I played the famed Spacey-Bapu 5-String Bass on THIS SONG?

BTW, when will the Spacey wound bazz pups be available for retrofitting?

Ed I apologize to you and everybody for not commenting in the songs
    forum. I do listen though.

I have the DVD audio of this in surround sound.
I think what you did is wonderful. I sure couldn't have pulled off
what you did with it. Your vocal work seemed especially honed-in musically
    and with emotion.
Man I really feel strange commenting on the bass part...I love the way you play..I'll
say that and that you played that tune very well.

I believe the Bartolini pups on your bass are the "jazz" type IIRC. The deal with them is they both may be the same size or they may be different with the
bridge being the larger. Measuring the length will tell. I sure think they're different.

Another issue with them is the cost. !! Material alone for two is $80.00 or so. Man...glad
I play guitar lol. That doesn't even include the wire! Man these companies must get stuff cheap...bulk.
If you wanted me to build some my thought is.......you are a gamblin man! LOL
If I were to bet..?...ya, I'd bet I could hit very close and ya never know...lol.

Well it keeps life fun and if we do.....you have plenty of time to record some more
wonderful music. I'm humbled and proud you play that with that Alembic sitting close by.
Being that I can't test them in your bass if they didn't sound as you wanted you could
always send them back. At least we wouldn't have the freight issue we had with the bass.
    ( the bright side)

Let me know and if you want I'll give it my best shot when I finish this build.
I'd be proud if I could make some bass pups you'd approve of.

NOTE- Price I said is wrong...I found parts much less...probably under 20 each to build.
