Been waiting on this one for a long time. Partly out of curiosity to see what they could possibly come up with to improve what was arguably already the best compressor on the market. Well, they've done it. I think you can take "arguably" out of that claim now.

In a world where we have hundreds of plugins to choose from, a brilliant GUI and unmatched feature set will get a lot of attention. FF have done it again -- hats off to Floris and Frederik! Cheers, Eddie

Overall, this new compressor is overwhelming. It looks way cool, but I'm convinced I'll not use it that often because it's going to be too confusing.
I'm quite sure I'll get it. And try hard to use it. But I suspect I'll use about 10 percent of what it can do.
But, yes, I'd like to roll around in it for days as has been expressed above.

It's sexy for sure. Bitflipper turned me on to Pro-C a few years back and it truly is enough for everything. It is the only compressor anyone would ever need, but I do like to use other brands too. I highly recommend Klanghelm's MJUC and TDR Kotelnikov for example. They are very, very good. Fab Filter is above and beyond, but it doesn't come cheap.

I just checked my FF account in hopes there'd be some pricing information, but aside from the link to Dan Worrall's video, they're being coy about it. Hopefully, the upgrade will be $50 like they did with Pro-Q2. We'll find out tomorrow, I guess.

I'm sure for those who don't own it at all, it will be the new $185 price point. That is what Pro-Q 2 and Pro-MB are.

My invoice for Pro-Q2 was 69.65 vs. 199.00 price on 8/28/14. I'm guessing that Pro-C2 will be in the ballpark but I really like the $50 price mentioned by bitflipper.

Pro-C 2 is overkill. Way over the top. Irrationally uber featured. But killer. Can't wait to see the announcement with the price.

This thing is totally rad! It has a zillion presets, similar to Ozone or our old 32 bit thingy which radically change the sound... very nice to play with different setups in remixing/mastering/squirting a wave file on a song... I must say this is the best 60 bucks I've spent in a LOOOOOOONG time.... About the only non-Fab thingy I use nowadays is Prochannel for quick leveling and Sonarworks headphone plug... these folks are marvelous. 30 day trial is a must for anyone reading this... you'll find the duckets...
