Hi,

Not sure if it makes sense or not ... but then, a Strat violin, is on wood that is more than 100, even 200 years old, so it's possible, and likely that an amp, even any guitar, would likely sound better on older wood that has been through the ringer and still intact.

I'm not sure the amplification will be as important as the quality of the instrument and its playing ... but these days ... it's all about the tools, daw's and utilities anyway, so any instrument is already history ... and that means the amplification is all that is left that can change/fiddle with the tune!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

But when will they start making amps out of actual fenders?

Greg
I am selling my MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS, red and black. PM for more details.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.
Everything is better with pie.

That's too theological of a question ... re-shaping metal ... hmmmm

They're built with an Oak cab. Not the best but ok. Certainly not worth the price because it's just a blue jr. Meh, another marketing ploy for rich people.

Let's see.

On one hand, I could get a cool-looking practice amp for $1900.

OR

On the other hand, I could get $1900 worth of Jack Damage Black.

Think I'll go with the Jack Damage.

At that price, I'm not in unless I can get a 12 year old single malt.

I'd buy a better amp for less then spend some of what's left on fine whiskey.

Oddly enough - I swear that my Les Paul smells like chocolate.

If I leave it on the stand and close the studio for a day, the room smells chocolate when I come back. Months after I bought it, I'll be playing and suddenly I get one good whiff... Chocolate!

I was telling a friend during rehearsals last month when somebody across the room overheard and joined the discussion: "Man! I'm not crazy! I've been telling people that my guitar smell like potatoes!".

That guitar was a Les Paul too, incidentally...
