[ FIXED ] Loop Issues. Splat 2016 6

When in play mode, toggle the loop of and one creates hi pitch buzz and have to reset the audio engine to get it to stop.
Toggle on kills sound and toggle off makes high pitch buzz. Also happening now in non play mode.

Splat 6 22
Tascam US-1200, newest drivers, ASIO, AD2 drums, 1 midi and a few audio tracks, and  some VSTs. WIN8.1

I'm still having this problem. As the track is playing, If I set or reset loop length  or move the now time marker.
Crash and buzz every time and I have to reset the  audio engine at least two time before it will stop.
this really slows me down. WIN8.1

Are you using ASIO?  Is your buffer setting particularly low?

You could try increasing to see if it changes things.

using ASIO drivers... I can see changing to MME could fix the problem but it should work with ASIO... :)
And I can't record multi tracks at once in MME anyway.

I'm not suggesting MME.  I'm suggesting an increase in your ASIO buffers to see if that helps.

ASIO interfaces usually have a separate app for setting sample rate and buffer size.  For example, mine looks like this

Ah! Another US-16x08 user! Love mine! Had it for about a year, now. Got mine on an MF SDotD for $200! How's it been working for you? Also, I like the (Lifer) in your sig. Reminds me of an Army doc I had who asked my if I had plans to be a lifer (there were two different medical terms he could use to describe my situation; one was medically disabling, the other wasn't; I told him I wanted to go home; ha).

    Back on topic...

When tracking, it's typically recommended to keep the audio interface's Buffer Size as small as possible (before clicks/pops/dropouts occur) for lowest latency. When mixing and bouncing tracks with lots of FX, it's really helpful to raise the Buffer Size significantly (like from the 128 samples shown above to 1024 or 2048). This substantially reduces the interrupt processing load on the CPU and speeds up rendering.
