- FIXED- My Cake gear lost its mojo

I repeatedly went through the installation process and it started working. No idea why. Following up with Cake support.

This is strange and I don't know all the facts yet. My cakewalk A-Pro control and UA25 interface are not getting along. The A-Pro won't install properly and the UA25 is running fairly high latency.

THe A-Pro will trigger midi and record but none of the controller functions will work. I don't want to say it but it worked fine with 8.5, never a hiccup. Now I realize that lots of things have changed since I last used the controller and it may have nothing to do with X1.

The UA25 works great with GR4 pro but is very laggy when trying to monitor a soft synth. The latency is 6.5 ms in and 6.5 ms out with a round trip of 12.6ms at 605 samples.

I can't get the latency any lower and DPC checker is reporting a latency value of 147us max. I used ASTRA 32 to check my USB settings and both the A-Pro and the UA25 are showing up as USB 1.1 devices. All my USB ports are 2.0 and I bought an external USB 2.0 hub to see if it was a voltage sag issue, but no difference.

To my knowledge Cakewalk has not issued any new drivers for these devices and I assume that they are now orphaned. If anyone has an idea how I can get my mojo back I'd love to hear it. IF you are going to suggest I go back to 8.3 please don't respond. That ship has sailed and 8.5 is in the sock drawer.
