FLAC Problem in Sonar

Hi,

I am planning to convert some sound files that I created to FLAC and still use them in Sonar. The format of the source WAV files is unsigned 24-Bit at 48kHz. The files have been converted (and verified) successfully using the official FLAC encoder. However, Sonar doesn't seem to be able to import them either by dragging the FLAC file in the project or by selected the File->Import->Audio command. In most cases, Sonar either crashes or ignores the file. I have noticed this behaviour in Sonar 8/8.5/X1/X1a/X1b on different machines 32-bit and 64-bit (OS and Sonar).

Sonar seems to handle 16-bit FLAC files without any problem.

I uploaded an example FLAC file that is not working in Sonar here. As a note, the original WAV file is unsigned 24-Bit at 48kHz, it decodes properly using the official FLAC decoder and opens in both Goldwave and VLC well.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

Kris
