Sorry, but I'm experiencing compassion fatigue. I love how they put this as the definition for FOMO: FOMO n, informal : fear of not being included in something (such as an interesting or enjoyable activity) that others are experiencing. Then they don't include what the acronym stands for! (Fear Of Missing Out.) Same with ICYMI (in case you missed it )

Only two of them are words. Three, at a push. I see what I did there.

Hi, No Bapu is mentioned ... tell them to get back to the ground floor! TMI ... used to be a big word on the Call Center scene ... if only they could pay for all that teaching and education, though ... they might have some better support! When they "got rid" of the so-called "power words", every Supervisor and Manager, never again used the word ... TMI!
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

OK, since it seems texting shortcuts are now "words", I think next year's edition should include the likes of :) and GLFOTA.

Now that they're considered words, they too can be shortened to a single letter abbreviations when using multiples for even more efficient (and far less understandable) texting. Pretty soon an entire conversation can take place with just a few keystrokes! A Y? J. L! C U2.
