Well, that sucks.

I tried to connect to that link (discuss.cakewalk) and tried to log in.

No login fields. Then asks me to log in via Google or a blank button (happened to be Facebook). No thanks.

I logged into BandLab and then tried again. No luck.

Totally underwhelmed.

If they can't get a simple web page to work, how can I trust their work on more complicated things, like Cakewalk?

The link works fine here. I'm using chrome. If you are looking for the login area, near the top right hand corner of the page, under the word "Discuss", is a bar with three symbols. Click on the symbol to the far right (the symbol is three parallel lines.) Then you should be able to just log into your Cake account.

Which of the two forums would we log into if we need to re download the DAW or any other virtual equipment we own (Sonar X3, Dimension LE)?
Or is that a different website?

There is an issue with the log on to the new forum and it seems that older versions of OS Safari and IE 11 don't work. You get to a certain screen and it's unresponsive.

Jesse you should try it yourself and see if you can open IE and test. Nobody in there right mind would use IE anymore but our work computers do. And not sure about Safari but there's a thread below discussing this. You'll see I posted a screenshot of what I get.

Otherwise sad this forum is shutting down as it's been a daily ritual for me on coffee breaks and down time at home.
The new forum will have to grow a little before it feels like home for me. I do love the way you can now post pictures directly from your hard drive.

Purely FYI using Opera when logging in I get a pop up saying "Cakewalk will receive your profile/your email address" every time (sometimes twice) and then sometimes this is followed by get a " There is a problem" type message, but I am logged in so I don't know what the problem is.

There's nothing stopping people from posting questions about older products (or even using Cubase)  same as it's always been. It just get harder to find help, as like myself, I totally forget how some stuff in x3 worked, I'd only be guessing with certain features. But general stuff has not changed for a long time.
