while this is supposedly modelled on the LA-2A to my ears this actually seems closer to the 1176 type. And its not just the colour which is making me come to this conclusion. This comp is fast, the attack can be ultra fast and also the release, both adjustable, and when inserted on a drum channel is wickedly fast, imparting real attitude, the dry wet adjustment means you can really come down on your drum parts and then blend with the dry signal to taste. I think because this is a freeware at present and late to the retro comp software clone party that it somewhat ended up under the radar.
