I've done a ton of custom graphics for my weird-ass effects chains, but never thought about doing anything with them because at the time, the people at Cakewalk didn't like them. Maybe I should park them for a week somewhere if people want to download them.

The first 3 books in "The Musician's Guide to Home Recording" series are available from Hal Leonard and http://www.reverb.com. Listen to my music on http://www.YouTube.com/thecraiganderton, and visit http://www.craiganderton.com. Thanks!

Re: FX Chain Background Graphics 2018/09/18 09:57:43 (permalink)
The FX Chains were just thrown together to test the graphics (hence the multiple kill switches). The FXs themselves were all included with SONAR apart from Eventide 2016 Stereo Room and Air Windows Capacitor.

I was working on these graphics shortly before the announcement that Cakewalk was ceasing development of SONAR and so never got round to finishing them off and posting them. There are a few more backgrounds and multiple knobs not shown in the screenshot above.

Now that I know that is at least one person interested, I'm happy to get the job completed.

It will take a few days. I did so many incrementally different versions of the various bits and pieces, that I lost track of the versions I preferred.

I'd forgotten what fun could be had with FX chains. Especially when you assign one knob to multiple parameters - much silliness can ensue.

Here's a small collection of my FX chain graphics. They're a few pixels short of where I'd like them to be, but ...

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JN2gGjhLwG5kMYX6dOoFY_HcHfghNDjo/view?usp=sharing

Some of the knobs come in a variety of colours and I've included some knobman files for you to mess about with if you are so inclined.

Here's some examples. Have fun!
