FX chain help. Possible Bug (answered)
PLEASE READ POST #3 About Possible BUG>>> .................................... how do you use ACT with plugins that are in Fx chains .. Plugins within the FX chain dont have ACT controls how am I too use my Hardware ? I can create knobs in the Fx chain window but dont see a way to map em out..

I got it. No ACT button is displayed within the plugin within the Fx Chains window.. You must open the ACT panel and click act button within that window .

OK I been messing around with FX chains, I found a bunch of irregularities , I been loading up some presets only to find out some parameters aren't able to be controlled with the Fx chain menu ..
Nerdy kick preset for instance I can map and control parameter within the px 64 but the sonitus compressor , Im not able to use the controls within the Fx panel. I have it mapped to ACT , move the hardware knob and it moves with the fx panel but not with the plugin..

OK Here's a recipe .. Load the fx chain window drag Sontus Compressor into it. Try to map the hardware to a parameter NO good.. In the FX bin load the same compressor below the fx chain window...And now your able to control.. I been finding alot of plugins are having this same behavior with in FX chain window.. Anyone else see this?

I think its a refresh issue with the Sonitus plugins. Only those seem to exhibit this AFIK.
Also its not that the value isn't changing. If you close the UI and open it again you should see the value change.
Another thing make sure that when you are testing this that you actually have some audio on the track and its not just an empty track. As an optimization SONAR doesnt send audio to VST's when the track is empty unless its a synth track or input monitoring is enabled.

Yes I only see this with the sonitus plugins. I tried a dozen other plugins and they all worked fine.. TY Noel for your response.
