FX chain : terrible visbility , any work around ?

Hi 
 
While the new FX chains stuff isn't that bad , the visbility is really a let down .....  i mean colors wises , i looked for color custom and no go ...
 
also i would like options like the sends to set the max number of fx shown .....i have a bus dedicated to analysis tools , guess what , all my fx bin are no 8 slots lol
 
If anybody have a work around .....i 'll take it ...
