FYI - new Friday's Tip of the Week posted

I've decided to keep doing a Friday's Tip of the Week at craiganderton.com. It won't always be about SONAR, but there will definitely be SONAR tips. The one coming up for this Friday is about making electronic drum parts more interesting.

Thanks Craig. you made my day. glad this is still going.
I think it will be more interesting to see a verity of different products and usages (if that's what you meant by "it wont always be about sonar).

I'm still going to leave the link up to these tips for as long as they're here to encourage people to visit the Cakewalk site. I want to branch out into tips about more than just technology like capturing performances, writing songs with DAWs, live performance, etc. Given that I use SONAR, the tips will by their very nature involve the program.

Really cool. Thanks much, Craig!

“Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy” is attributed to Benjamin Franklin perhaps in error, but the thought remains a worthy sentiment nonetheless.

Interesting you should mention that...I'm considering combining updated versions of the current tips, with updated tips from the first book, to create the Mondo Gigantic Huge Book of SONAR Tips (well I wouldn't really call it that, but you catch my drift). I haven't figured out pricing, but I'm thinking $19.96 for new buyers, and under $10 for people who had already bought the first book...maybe somewhere between $7.95 and $9.95. I'm assuming the Cakewalk store would be able to do two tiers of pricing.

I just finished the draft tonight for a new book on how to get great vocal recordings. Not quite sure what I'll do with it yet, but it's about the same size as the "EQ De-Mystified" book.
