FYI - "Killer EDM Kics" Friday's Tip of the Week for Sonar

The Friday's Tip of the Week at craiganderton.com is about using the QuadCurve EQ and Tube with bussing to turn wimply analog kicks into more powerful variations. There are a couple of audio examples.

Craig - Just a note that I really appreciate your continued input in the Sonar / Cakewalk forums......it lends a bit of an afterlife support that has distinguished this community from many others. I bought the first of your Sonar Tips books ( PDF ) last fall ( just prior to the Gibsonian announcement) and I understand you rounded up another batch that for sale on reverb. Thanks for all your continued Sonar dude support.

Somewhat unfortunately -  I re-upped for a Sonar Pro license and didn't get a chance to upgrade to Platinum before the rug pull. So a few features and customization s aren't available to me that I had hoped.  But - in a sense -It's all good !

No problem, I still use Sonar so if I come up with something useful, I'm more than happy to share it. Nor have I given up hope that Sonar will find a home somewhere.

The more I work with S1, the more I find it's a very different program with a very different philosophy that doesn't invalidate Sonar, but supplements it. It's kind of like playing electric guitar all your life, then finding out there are also acoustic guitars. Some songs work better with the electric, and some with the acoustic.
