FYI X3 bug? : Punch in midi loop recording not muting prior takes (CWBRN-20963)

Punch in recording of midi is not working correctly (and by "correctly" i infer "same as for audio")

Punch-in recording only
If you record a midi track. press stop. Insert a punch in window within the timeline and press record. The track is played and the prior take is muted during the punch-in window (new material is heard). So far, so good.

Loop Recording only
Set a loop, hit record and each new take is heard and all prior recorded takes are muted. So far, so good

Punch-in Loop Recording
Make a loop outside of a punch-in window, set recording to comp mode & hit record. In this instance, prior recorded takes are not muted. (with audio recording they are..ie as expected)

So, with audio recording you can loop record, punch-in record and use both.. with midi you cannot combine loop and punch in recording..
