FYI belongs in Hardware

My specs are below. I was running CPU 51 degrees idle and 55+ when using Sonar X1. With an arctric 7 Freezer rev 2, Quiet but not real efficent.
Changed it today to:
Noctua NH-U12P-Now 40 degrees idle and 43-46 with full 60 track project running and mixing. Comes with adapters to lower fan speed (has 2 120mm fans) Defaults are 1275rpm-very quiet. Adapters go 1100rpms and 900 rpms. I will try the adapters just for kicks. At 900 I won't hear a whisper.
Fits fine on my Asus P6T SE Motherboard with all Ram slots filled, but it is VERY TALL. I have Antec Performance Case-new one.  Case is 8" wide.
