FYI-- great deal on monitors

I was at guitar center yesterday and saw they were selling E-MU PM5 monitors for 100 bucks apiece on clearance (apparently discontinued).

I have to tell you, these are THE BEST SPEAKERS I'VE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE!!!

Actually, that's a total lie. But they are quite good for the typical street price of $250 each and at $100 they're a steal.

Very good pick to get started in surround monitoring ($500 for an active, studio-grade surround system) or for anyone on a tight budget who's still mixing on stereo speakers (if you are using HiFi speakers, grab these things-- for $200/pr, you can't lose).

Anyway, probably the best deal on monitors I've seen. Get 'em while the getting's good.
