That's great. I've been Snipping these out of the web pages and saving them in Word files.

I'll echo the question above. In what form is it available? I prefer an electronic document. Following the "buy" link doesn't tell you what you're actually buying, at least not up to the point where you actually pay.

PDF. Perfect. Just bought it.

Well done, Craig.

Admittedly, there's a fair bit that doesn't interest me (loops and the like). But there's a ton of very interesting and valuable stuff that serves as a launch pad for doing more with SONAR.

Well by the time I reached page 311 I was pretty toasted myself . My right hand is still recovering from the pounding it took getting the book finished over the Thanksgiving holidays.

BUT it was worth it, I truly appreciate everyone's support...especially because this is somewhat of a proof of concept. I did this on my own time because it didn't seem right to have Gibson pay me to do something for Cakewalk. I'm not taking any royalties, because that lowers the price and I wanted this to be affordable to the community. But if it does well, then I could justify taking the time to do more - like something about mastering in SONAR, or mixing techniques. We'll see what happens, but I am both grateful for and humbled by the response so far. You've made my day.

Bought! Here's hoping: I will zoom through the text at lightning speed but read every word, every word will make sense, and all of that sense will remain, memorized and accessible with no effort whatsoever, in my brain. Well, I can hope, can't I?

I will admit that some of it is indeed fairly advanced. But take it a step at a time...

Also, please note that the Tip of the Week thread is not going away, it's just being "reset" so it can start over. If you have any questions, even about older tips, you can always pose them there.

Just bought it. Thanks, Craig; it looks great.

“Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy” is attributed to Benjamin Franklin perhaps in error, but the thought remains a worthy sentiment nonetheless.

I also copied some of the tips into One Note, but didn't keep up since I'm too busy making music. Thanks for all your hard work. You are tireless! I just purchased it and put it into my Goodreader app.

Clicked the link in the OP, bought, downloaded, opened, immediately got 3,4,5 useful ideas from of the Inspector/Console View Synergy tip alone.  I think I'm going to like this.

Ha! I didn't think of that ... the author is right here just in case (in my case, the very likely case) there's something we don't quite get.

Thanks, Craig :)

Scored a copy. I also came here to give my gratitude to Craig Anderton for his endless patience and compassion when helping forum participants, and for bringing out the best in the Cakewalk community. He is like that popular kid in high school who got along with everybody, even the dorks.

All hail The Craig!

A very helpful book. Just after the first 30 pages or so, I've discovered widgets and gadgets that I have looked at for years but never really knew what they did. It is very easy to get locked into a routine of doing things one way but an e-book like this opens the door to so many other possibilities. Well written, as you would expect, to the point and no fluff.

Win10 64bit Sonar Platinum
ASUS SSD 128gb
i7 Intel 2.8mhz
Toshiba Portable HD 2 gb x 3
16gb memory
Nvidia 960M
Komplete Kontrol S61 Mk II
Komplete Kontrol S49
Focusrite Sapphire 6i6
