Facebook Farmer

Here is another one I did quite some time ago. Is there a limit to how many songs you can post in a certain time period? I don't want to wear out my welcome? I think Reverbnation's processing tends to muddy some songs up a bit but let me know what you think. Thanks!

I never played that game....or any other on FB.

As far as how many songs to post..... If you post more than one at a time, people probably won't be paying as much attention to a given song..... Once the current one falls off the 1st page that's when I consider it OK to put up a new one. Of course, that assumes you are writing enough to have a bunch of tunes ready to go. (wow... just looked at the impressive list of stuff on your reverbnation page)..... I guess you could singlehandedly keep us in music for a few months.

On the song....It has a Skynard feel.... I like it. But I'm not hearing the drums as clearly as I think I should for that genre.  I'm not hearing the drive I'd like to hear in it.... lots of guitars and distortion from them.....fat sound on the guitars, but you need more bass and drums to put some drive into it.

nice work on the lyrics too. clever stuff.

    Good tune.

OK, that was funny...  I've never played the game either, but I know just enough about what it is to get the lyrics.

I agree that the rhythm section could be brought up to the level of the guitars; they do sound very good.

I've mucked a barn, dug post holes (by hand) worked in a garden, dealt w/livestock (chickens, goats, cattle, horses)

It builds character... Never Farmed on Facebook though? In fact I had to give that site up. Too much drama for me? I don't visit it for more than a year, I swore it off and have been true to my word about it.

I'll bail hay with you though? :-)

    Good stuff on the tune.

very clever song writing! I would have to agree that the kit mix needs work...but still didnt take away from the real strength of this tune which was the lyrics...
If you could get someone to put a live kit in this tune it would really take it over the top

    good work

Thanks for listening and commenting.I actually do have a recording of this song with a real drummer and a live kit that I am still working on. When I do get finished with it I will post it .Glad you liked the song!
