Fade In/Out on Audio clip not working...

Hi,

When I add a 'Clip Fade in' or 'Clip Fade out' to an audio clip in my project, the fade in doesn't affect it. The same volume remains. Fade ins and outs work on all other audio clips in my project. I haven't layered a clip on top of another clip by accident. When I delete the clip, it stops playing. When I cut a slice out of it, it stops playing for the gap, as expected. When I bounce it to another track AND route the new bounced version to the SAME bus as before, the fade in works. I don't get it. Maybe it's something simple...My route is below.

The Audio track (with Pro Channel Tube, EQ, Comp) > Synth BUS (with Pro Channel EQ and Comp) > Master (Nothing on it).

Please let me know if you need more information.
Cheers
Dave

I'm sure someone else will be along to offer more assistance. But in the meantime I do know that sometimes depending on what you have done to an audio clip you sometimes have to 'Bounce to Clip' before doing further processing.

I have experienced a few times quite unexplicable weirdnesses which only occurred on one particular clip.
I neverr found an answer to what caused the anomalies. Maybe you're facing one of such...

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

I was suspecting it may be just an unexplainable error. Am hoping It's not Though. I've tried bouncing it down but to no avail. I think it's probably caused by having it routed to a bus. Somehow.
