Faderport 8 and Splat

have been meaning to try this... and finally did.  Works great!  Transport, arm, loop, solo, mute, faders...etc   Nice surprise.

Yes, same experience here. The other surprise is how compact the unit is for full-size faders...sold my Avid Artist Series controllers after using FaderPort 8 for a week.

I love the Faderport 8! Not used it with SPLAT but the deep integration with Studio One is amazing.

Maker.... put it in HUI mode, set it up in SPlat...and actually more features than I thought actually work.  It is a much better product hooked up with S1 though.

It's excellent with S1, that's for sure.  Haven't really used it yet with SPlat.

I switched to Studio One when Cakewalk ceased development of Sonar. I've been wrestling with the idea of getting this hardware for months. Finally caved in and went for the 16 fader version...well, in for a penny and all that. So, ordered it last Saturday with a promise of delivery on Monday. Due to my surpliers in Madrid (I live a few hundred kms down the road in Alicante) using the WORST courier company in the history of humankind, I am STILL waiting.

I am not worth knowing at the moment. Honestly, keep your distance.
