Faders on MIDI tracks randomly not working

Faders on MIDI tracks randomly not working

Anybody have an idea why the volume faders on some MIDI tracks would not work? With every project I run into the same issue and it's starting to bug me. Of course I can just bounce the tracks to audio and everything is fine, but why is it that invariably some faders on MIDI tracks have absolutely no affect on volume while others work just fine? Once the fader on a track fails I can never get it to work again. This happens with all versions 4.0.x. Any ideas?

    Just a guess ... but in the track vie make sure the volume control is not disabled. (101)
    The () designate the disabled control.
    RightClick on it and choose enable, then check and see if the fader works.
    That ~might~ be it.
