Fading Busses

Hello,
How do you assign the motorized fader to a buss, particularly the master buss, so a full song fade can be automated? I've been meaning to ask this for a while now, but this time I really need to do it.
Thanks

Are you having a hard time moving to the Buss section?

If the VS is moving between tracks using the "Track Buttons" then all you have to do is press "Shift > Track (either track button)" and the track controls now start moving through the Buss tracks. "Shift > Track" will return you to the Tracks themselves.

Hopefully that is what you were looking for.

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!

Thanks Coda, no I'm not having any trouble moving the track selector (WAI), I just never knew about that "Shift>Track" trick. That had eluded me all this time.
    Thanks again,
Every problem should have such an easy solution.

I don't mean to dig up a solved, older thread but I just stumbled upon the problem you were having (I think).

I always move through tracks with the VS-100 and used "shift" to move the WAI position to the buss section.  Today I was navigating with a mouse and keyboard and discovered you could not move the WAI to the BUSS section with a mouse. Both dragging would not work, nor would the right click "select".

This must be an oversight or a bug - there is no way this can be by design! Surely, not all control surfaces will have the track buttons capable of making this happen. Does that mean those users cannot use their controllers on the buss section?

I don't know the answer to that.
