Failuer of Antares Auto-tune EFX to load in Essential X1

Hi all,
 
Has anyone else experienced this, or - better yet - does anyone have a solution?
 
I purchased the Antares Auto-tune EFX and also the iLok USB key required to authenticate it. It works fine on my laptop which runs Windows VISTA, but it will NOT load on desktop model which runs Windows 7.
 
For about two weeks Antares sent me suggestions and patches along with assurances that the product worked on their machine which was also running Windows 7. However, they couldn't get it to work and finally stopped responding to my e-mails. Cakewalk support has kindly sent me suggestions, but they are all things I've already tried. So, what I want to know, is have others experienced the same difficulty and have they come up with a solution.

    Have you tried running Essential as adminstrator?

    You don't mention what instructions you already have tried so I might be kicking in open doors.
