Fall at Lake of the Ozarks
Video and stills by my son, now a full time photographer since he lost his construction job last month. Trying to drum up more business, and, by the looks of this, having a little fun at it. :) Accompaniment by our very own Rik (Rikkie). :) Anyone in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma or Arkansas need wedding, family, baby, senior, real estate photos, etc., give him a shout. :) Fall at the Lake of the Ozarks Edit: New version...he changed the music for the last half. Now Rik & I both get to play along. :)

Janet, your son is a terrific photographer. The video footage is mesmerizing, and Rik's accompaniment is perfect for this. It captures the feel of the Ozarks very well. BTW, we had and are still having a beautiful fall in KC this year in spite of the drought.

I agree, Jan. :) Thanks Lynn. I think he is too. :) Yeah, I wondered if the drought contributed to the gorgeous fall colors. Every other year (6 for me) I just remember orange and brown and then the leaves fell off. But this year reminded me of Ontario, or beautiful pictures I've seen of out East, etc. Feel free to post this anywhere you can up there. They've done some gigs in KC too. :)

Well done all the way around. Very nice photo work. Excellent piano and guitar too. Clear mix, quite loud, but still clear. Nice tune.... The last note fading sounds off pitch as it's fading. Very pretty. Daryl

Nice guitar playing and capture. The images ain't no slouch either. We used to drive upstate in the fall from NYC and I never had seen such colors being from Texas. We'd drive up the back roads through little valleys and they looked on fire. @
https://soundcloud.com/a-pleasure-dome http://www.bnoir-film.com/ there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

Sadly... I am hopefully, but not optimistic. The blew states have given us this mess... And we (the US) get what we deserve I'm afraid, and that's not good for any of us...

Thanks Daryl. He worked real hard on it. He's got it on the Lake of the Ozarks Facebook page, which is most likely one of the main marketing 'groups' around here. But I'll mention your idea too. Thanks again!

Gorgeous photography Janet, very talented. The Ozark's are certainly beautiful in the fall. As a happy accident, I still had Marcus's tune going as I was watching the video. They actually go very well together.

Thanks Grant. :) Yeah, when he said he needed some mellow guitar playing, I figured I'd point him to my collab partner (well, one of em!) Rik. He was impressed, as I knew he would be. :) Mike, I meant to say earlier...I'm sure Marcus's playing would go well with this too. Actually, I'm sure a lot of you would be able to play to fit this...but Rik's name came to mind first.
