Bearing in mind Whitbread had 'Trophy' and 'Tankard', they should have at least been honest and called at least one of 'em 'Wooden Spoon'

Yes, and there was a decentish Flowers IPA.

I remember Banks's used to do their own barley wine, called 'Old Ale'. Like feckin' rocket fuel it was. You only had to look at it and brain cells would start dying voluntarily

Yes you can get Fullers in the USA. I doubt it will taste the same as what you had in UK though.


Yeah, you're probably right.  I think the Fullers ESB would have to have been brewed locally and was only drinkable for a few days.  It leaves a yeasty sediment at the bottom of the glass and I seriously doubt that it was pasteurized.
