Farewell CW members!!! "Fly & Follow" feat. Danny Danzi

Hey everybody,

Just to let you all know, tomorrow morning I'm heading to Dublin airport to start a little adventure this year. Something I've always wanted to do was to travel the world, at the age I am, single, no mortgage, few years work under my belt, it seems like an obvious decision to be honest!

Step 1 is India, Ill be heading to do some volunteering in the first month and then some travel.....yup,on my own! I have a flight booked to Thailand then, but thats as far as it goes for now, play it all by ear (BTW if anyone want to put me up along the way, youre more than welcome!)

So thanks to all who have contributed to my tracks over the past while and I hope I have helped some people out here also. I will be off the forum for a while and probably wont get a chance to "home produce" some music for quite a while.

Before Christmas, I wrote a song called "Fly & Follow" whom I had actually sent to another  forum member as a rough idea for a collaboration. When the travel plans took place, the song rose its head, it had the perfect theme to my departure. So I decided to finished off the production myself  for my last song as such. It would be no harm to get another set of hand on board to give it a final makeover I thought.The track suddenly took on a rock feel after a few drafts and I felt a prime candidate to help me out would be Danny, who I think done a fantastic job.

Safe travels to you, I hope the trip turns out to be a great adventure for you.  Sounds like a great time and now is the time to do it.  You will have some things to write about when you get back home.
 
I appreciate the collabs that we did and the special project that you and James did for me last year.  Very much appreciated.
 
This song with Danny is absolutley superb.  Have listened to it a few times now.   Great song and well performed and mastered.  Doesn't get much better than that.  
 
Let me know if you are traveling through Texas at any point on your trip.

I'm happy for you and proud of you for taking the plunge. Never been to India, but I've been to Thailand. Beware of the narcs selling thai sticks on the beach. Thanks for all you've shared with us and may the force be with you.

An adventure... what more fun can you have.  I've done some pretty cool ones myself and they've never been regretted for a moment.   Enjoy the ride Cian!

Hi all, greetings from goa India, got sone slow wifi at camp.been here less than a week and seen so much and already had so many ups and downs!

Huge thanks for checking out the track, but more importantly your good wishes, advice and generosity.

Cian... have the time of your life and watch your step. In my early 20s I didn't travel the world but I hitched across the USA. It was a great time and I wish the best for you.
 
I heard you in a song with Jubilee earlier today. I have deprived myself by not spending more time in the Songs forum.
 
To Fly and Follow... the only song I've heard today that brought a tear to my eye, not sad... just the emotion that a great singer can bring without warning. Amazing.
 
On the mix I would bring up the lead vocal just a tiny little bit but it could be these old K-240s and the onboard soundcard. Man.. what a voice and a great song too!! Autoplay is taking me through the others... what fun.
