Bear in mind that those kinds of errors are almost always unique to your system and often cannot be duplicated by engineering. If it's due to a bug in SONAR, it's unlikely they'll be able to fix it unless they can duplicate the behavior. If it's a local failure of your hardware or an incompatibility with other software, there is no way they could possibly implement a fix without coming out to your house. In such cases, the best you can hope for is to identify the module that raised the error.
A few years ago I experienced a spate of faults and sent CW my dumps. They replied (quickly) that they were all occurring in the same third-party plugin. I substituted that particular plugin with another that offered the same functionality. So in that case, they not only got back to me but gave me a practical solution as well.
Where CW falls down is in following up on bug fixes, and in not making that information available to the user community. Once a ticket's status goes to "submitted to engineering" it's gone down a black hole and you will never find out if a fix was implemented unless you later see it in a subsequent version's release notes.
I guess if you let users in on the sausage-making, if the process were transparent, then it might hurt sales or provide ammunition for your competitors. And in fact, most other DAW manufacturers are equally obtuse. The obvious exception is the one DAW-that-shall-not-be-named that's growing its user base faster than all others combined.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
